Swiss cats have some guts, because for starters, 74 percent of them live outdoors at least some of the time. I cannot find the source for this statistic anymore, but just believe me, because many a cat crosses my path every day on the way to work!
Secondly, those that do live outside need a means do make their way into fourth-floor apartment buildings, or worse. This situation, combined with people’s love of their feline friends, seems to have sparked a movement of creative cat ladder design!
