After a wildly successful tour in North America, Cirque du Soleil is bringing “OVO” across the Atlantic. First stop: Switzerland.
Sure, the Swiss may associate this name with Ovomaltine, the energizing beverage. However, “ovo” is Portugese and stands for “egg”. But energizing it is, this mysterious egg at the center of this show… In the kingdom of insects, the egg is something strange yet curious. When it first appears in this busy world of worker bees and creeping caterpillars, “ovo” is admired by the insects. Then, the riddle unfolds and it becomes apparent that the egg is a symbol for the circle of life, for love and existence.
The crew includes 50 artists from more than 12 countries. One of the highlights of the show is an aerial acrobatics act where artists move among platforms that are six meters apart…
Reserve your tickets before they are gone! (Ticket sales start on December 13 at 8 AM.)
