Irish Folk Festival – Celtic Super Night (Zürich)

What do The Corrs, Enya and Van Morrison have in common? Their tunes were all influenced by traditional Irish music. This goes to show the immense popularity of Celtic music – not just during the 18th century.
Today, the elvishly lovely sounds of Irish folk music can be enjoyed in popular shows such as Riverdance or in movie soundtracks such as Lord of the Rings. And once a year, actnews brings a great line-up of live performers to Switzerland!
As part of this year’s Irish Folk Festival, enjoy Gaelic songs by the charming Friel Sisters, Karan Casey with her amazing voice, or Lúnasa – an excellent band:
