From 6 PM until 2 AM, there is a packed program that includes about 200 different events and 37 museums: Workshops, performances, readings, film presentations and much more. Each institution provides culinary delicacies from all over the world.
If you like jazz, come to the beautiful Basler Münster and listen to some live tunes while having a glass of Glühwein. Or if bananas are more your thing, the Botanical Gardens have a special treat for you.
You can also hop on one of the free buses and cross the border to Germany to see the Vitra Design Museum. Have a drink at the Bauhaus bar and listen to three designers speak about their work.
Drop by the city archive to learn everything about Russia, from history to the involvement of spies. There is also a guided tour every full hour starting at 7 PM.
