Furthering Education: In the UK or in Switzerland? (London)

The challenge confronted by young people of ‘what to do next’ following the end of compulsory education never is an easy one. For young people and their parents, it is always best to be clear on the full set of available options.
The Federation of Swiss Societies in the United Kingdom (FOSSUK) is attempting to fill this gap through an Educational Forum scheduled to take place Thursday, 15 May 2014, starting at 18:30, at the Swiss Embassy in London.
Many Educational Opportunities in Switzerland
The educational event will be led by four panel members positioned to present the full range of educational opportunities in Switzerland, including apprenticeships in the field of vocational education and training as well as academic education at Swiss universities.
The target audience is young adults with the necessary language skills, so predominately Swiss expatriates residing in the UK. However, the event also would be of interest to adults looking to enhance their existing career prospects, make a change in their career, or to return to the work force.
The panel presentation is followed by a Q&A session with a reception where refreshments will be served and where more informal discussion can take place. The event is free and jointly organised with the New Helvetic Society, the City Swiss Club and the Unione Ticinese.
