CANCELED – The Escalade Festival and historical parade (Geneva)

Each December, Geneva's residents celebrate the traditional Fête de l'Escalade.
The citywide holiday is dedicated to an event that occurred on the night of December 11 to 12, 1602. Read more about the historical significance in our dedicated blog post. But the point is that you can be a part of Europe's largest historical parade right here in Geneva. On Friday night, expect some 800 people dressed in historic outfits in the parade that starts at St. Peter's.
