FANTASY BASEL is the Swiss version of Comic Con

FANTASY BASEL might just be your mecca this May. Fans of movies, video games, comics, manga, and cosplay will be gathering at Switzerland's version of Comic Con. Whatever rings your bell - there will be at least one other fan there to give you a high-five. From Game of Thrones to Harry Potter, and from Pikatchu to dinosaurs.
Star Wars Fan Props: Project X1
In 2022, there will be a special exhibit for fans of the Star Wars universe. Inside Star Wars Fan Props: Project X1, the renowned fan group will be showcasing some never-before-seen objects and props. Think oversized set designs that make you feel like you have stepped into a Hollywood sound stage. It remains to be seen whether the X-Wing has a comeback. Surely, Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, and other characters of the "Swiss Garrison" will be marking their territory...
In total, FANTASY BASEL is spread across three buildings of Messe Basel - that's a playground of more than 70’000 m2! Designated spaces will cover board games, merchandise, artists, virtual reality experiences, autographs, panel discussions, live acts, and much more.
