The Bar at Buena Vista (Zürich)

This April, the legendary Bar at Buena Vista will be located within a stone’s throw from Lake Zürich! The “Grandfathers of Cuban Music” will take us on a journey far away to Havanna, Cuba, in the 1940’s and 1950’s.

Dense cigar smoke, an orange sunset and heavy shot glasses that were filled with rum just a moment ago… In the background, suddle live music and the shapes of dancers ready to hit the floor. Then, a whirlwind hits the stage and a charge of energy goes across the audience! The rest is history, lost in the smoke.

The Bar at Buena Vista is a musical tribute to the infamous neighborhood in Havanna where love, jealousy and forgiveness are as common as rhumba, salsa and cha-cha-cha beats.

The live band in Zürich will consist of true living legends such as pianist Guillermo “Rubalcaba” Gonzáles, singer Julio Alberto Fernández and a star of his own, Mr. Reynaldo Creagh! The “Grandfathers of Cuban Music” will be stopping by Zürich for just this one day, and they are simply not to be missed!
