SUMMARY:Cable Car Breakfast with Matterhorn Views
DESCRIPTION:Once a year during the Swiss Food Festival\, the innovative heads at the Mont Cervin Palace Hotel in Zermatt will serve you a cable car breakfast. \nAs if this was not enough of a treat\, the cable car is part of the Matterhorn-Express and you will see the famous Matterhorn peak in its full glory. During the 70 minute round trip to Trockener Steg at almost 3000 meters above sea\, you will be able to enjoy various local delicacies. \nThere will be fresh bread and cheese from Valais\, or the popular Birchermüesli cereal dish. On top of this\, all beverages are included\, such as OJ\, coffee and tea. This once-in-a-lifetime experience costs 63.80 francs for adults and 48.80 francs for kids up to 16 years. DESCRIPTION:Their furs are half black\, half white. Some call them glacier goats. And they can be spotted from miles away. We are talking about the most famous residents of Switzerland’s southern mountains\, the Valais Blackneck goats. \nThese pesky creatures are known to sunbathe in the middle of a hiking path. No wonder they are some of the most photographed goats in the world… \n \nA perfect photo op\nFor seven weeks this summer\, a herd of about 50 blackneck goats will pass through Zermatt’s main street twice a day. Every morning around 9 AM and in the evening at about 5 PM\, hundreds of guests will be lining up to photographs these goats as part of the Zermatt Goats’ Parade. \n \nInsider’s Tip: Spend the night at Romantik Hotel Julen\nAcross the river from Zermatt’s busy main street is the four star Romantik Hotel Julen.
