DESCRIPTION:Farm Table reconnects people with local farmers who care about sustainable food. \nAnd on June 3\, they will be hosting a dinner as close to the source of healthy ingredients as you can get: At the organic farm Zur Chalte Hose in Forch near Zürich. The event organizers promise appetizers and a welcome drink to start out the evening. After a brief speech and a guided farm tour by the owners\, Claudia Wanger and Nils Müller\, everyone will have a seat at the long dinner table. \nIndulge in the creations by Fabian Spiquel from Maison Manesse\nHere\, you will get to enjoy a five course meal composed by the renowned guest chef\, Fabian Spiquel\, from Maison Manesse Zürich. The food will be cooked in his outdoor kitchen using seasonal ingredients from the very same farm that is hosting the dinner. \n \nThe price per person of 195 francs including alcoholic beverages\, or 155 francs per person including tap water and coffee. Tap water is included in the price\, but wine and coffee may be ordered on site for an extra charge. \nRSVP your seat online (regular price: CHF 105\, vegetarian: CHF 85) \nAbout the farm “Zur Chalte Hose”\nThis organic farm Zur Chalte Hose near Zürich is home to a herd of Angus mother cows\, Pomeranian ducks\, Croatian turopolje pigs and horses. Also\, the name quite literally stands for cold pants. \nThe owners are Claudia Wanger and Nils Müller. They have set up the farm and are leading it with great dedication\, following the highest principles in terms of ethics\, ecology and treatment of animal species. \nAs the only Swiss farm\, they are allowed to slaughter cows on the pasture. Apart from the Farm Table event\, they run a farm shop and a typical small farm restaurant (“Beiz”) where they serve an organic meal every other week.
