These intriguing concepts and musical interludes which are all designed to make you think are curated for a surprising audience experience. \nTEDxBasel brings a full day of inspiration.\nTEDxBasel is known for not releasing speakers before ticket sales in order to create an element of suspense and delight for its attendees. Here is my review from when I attended in 2016. Last year\, more than 600 people attended the conference and more than 120’000 people worldwide have watched the videos. Among them are the highly regarded talk by Kristen Pressner about the daily and hidden biases in business life. \nMoreover\, the talk of designer Samuel Vonäsch was the first ever conference video filmed in 360 degrees\, spiriting the viewer into the virtual reality perspective of the audience. \nStay tuned for a day full of inspiring talks\, creative ideas and much more. DESCRIPTION:A simple idea can have great effect: In the spirit of ideas worth spreading\, TEDxBasel is a forum designed to help communities and individuals spark conversation and connection through inspiring and thought-provoking discussion. \nThis will be the second TEDxBasel event. Building on last year’s success and positive feedback\, the audience size has been increased from around 200 to 500. \nTEDxBasel\nTEDxBasel is a community forum for sharing of passions\, stories and ideas. This platform helps to spark far-reaching discussions – and sometimes unpredictable connections. This year’s speakers are all local voices with diverse backgrounds and subject matters. They aim to promote understanding and knowledge while fostering relations within the community. \nOur mission: To spread local ideas to the world and bring the world’s to us. \nJennifer Chough\, one of the organizers of TEDxBasel\, sums it up: “We hope that the 2016 event will be a unique experience for our community.
