DESCRIPTION:Long before Thai food became commonplace in Switzerland\, the White Elephant restaurant in Zürich opened its doors. \nThanks to their authentic cuisine\, we count the White Elephant as one of our top choices when it comes to Thai restaurants in Zürich. We once asked to peek into the kitchen and to our surprise\, most of the chefs were Thai. So whenever we sit down to order a Tom Kha Kai or Pad Thai\, we have the confidence that it is close to eating at a local restaurant somewhere in Thailand. \nThe Elephantastic Seafood Journey is back!\nLast year\, we could not resist to check out the Thai seafood festival\, a special event at the White Elephant restaurant in Zürich. During two weeks in October\, the restaurant will present a seafood buffet as well as some other food stations with traditional Thai food. The atmosphere was very fun as the chefs seemed to enjoy performing for the guests. The all-you-can-eat seafood buffet features mussels\, squid\, or Black Tiger shrimps. For added flair\, there is a live cooking station in the center of the restaurant\, allowing guests to discover Thai culture at first hand. \n \nThe Thai Seafood Festival runs daily from Oct 6 through Oct 21\, from 6 – 10 PM.
