Unless you have been living under a rock, you have probably seen pictures of the Matterhorn and other Swiss tourist destinations at one point.

On the other hand, the photography series "Stadtland Schweiz" provides a kind of behind-the-scenes look at rural Switzerland how only locals get to see it. Apartment towers in the suburbs are just as much part of the landscape as are shopping malls and interstates. Towering mountains are just as much part of the cityscape as are crystal-clear lakes and green forests.
