DESCRIPTION:Copyright Römerfest\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGlorious outfits\, gladiator fights\, centurions on horses\, delicious Roman food\, enchanting music\, and ancient crafts – the biggest Roman Festival in Switzerland has it all. \n\n\n\nAt the annual Roman Festival\, over 30 special stations and more than 500 international participants will create an impressive scene of the times of the Roman city Augusta Raurica that used to stand here hundreds of years ago. \n\n\n\nIt’s not just about the looks\, though. It is more about learning by doing and trying out many things typical in Roman times. You could try playing a traditional Roman game\, forge pins\, and even race in a chariot. \n\n\n\nAfter a fun workshop or seeing an exhibition\, bite into a crunchy suckling pig\, Parthian chicken\, or Lucanian sausage.
