DESCRIPTION:A festival of culinary and cultural delights is underway on the Kornhausbrücke in Bern… Sur le Pont is Switzerland’s biggest pop-up venue offering an array of delights for all senses! \n\n\n\nThe theme of Sur le Pont Bern is Vo Bärn – Für Bärn\, which translates to From Bern – for Bern. This means that visitors will experience delicacies made from only regionally sourced and produced ingredients. And not only that\, the food trucks change every two weeks\, giving opportunities to a multitude of caterers. \n\n\n\nThe Talent Stage is a venue for songwriters and musicians from Bern. They will have the opportunity to showcase their talents\, meanwhile wow-ing the audience. And finally\, four young Bernese designers get to display their artful collections inside a minibus parked on the bridge. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOutdoor movies provided by Allianz Open-Air Cinema Bern\n\n\n\nThere is great news for film lovers\, too! Allianz Cinema’s open-air theater is providing entertainment in three different types of programs: the Early Bird Cinema for early risers to enjoy the sunrise on the bridge\, the Lunch Cinema for entertainment during the lunch break\, and the Family Cinema in the afternoon for parents and children. \n\n\n\nA children’s program is available every Wednesday from 2 to 5 PM. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSustainability is the idea\n\n\n\nLikely the world’s longest pop-up festival located on a bridge\, Sur le Pont stresses the importance of sustainability. The festival’s refrigerators are entirely powered by numerous colored solar panels. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCovid regulations\n\n\n\nDue to the festival’s popularity\, the federal government stipulates that visitors may only enter the Kornhausbrücke site with a valid Covid certificate.
