SUMMARY:Japanese Summer Festival (Münchenstein)
DESCRIPTION:Before the leaves start falling\, a family festival lets us soak in summer one more time. \nOrganized by the Japanese Association in Basel\, this year’s summer festival awaits with a great line-up of activities\, music and live performances. There will be a karate demonstration\, a Japanese harp concert and calligraphy workshops. \nOh\, and have I mentioned the food?\nFrom 11 AM until 3 PM\, there will be curry\, takoyaki (fried octopus)\, gyoza dumplins\, sushi and lots of varieties of Japanese sweets. \nFinally\, a hint: Those visitors who show up in a Japanese kimono or a cosplay outfit get free admission! I wonder how many Pokémons will make their way to the festival… \nThe KUSPO can easily be reached by public transportation: Simply take tram 10 or the S3 train to the Hofmatt stop.
