When Ren MacCormack moves from Chicago to a small town\, he suddenly faces a new reality: loud music and public dancing are banned for minors. By way of throwing a giant party\, the protagonist thinks he has found a loophole in the system… It’s teenage rebellion to the max! \n\n\n\nWhen Footloose (the film) was released in 1984\, it became an instant blockbuster. For months\, the songs dominated the airwaves and charts. And they are still popular today: “Holding Out for a Hero\,” “Almost Paradise\,” “Let’s Hear It for the Boy.” And\, of course\, “Footloose!” \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFootloose – The Musical at MAAG Halle in Zürich\n\n\n\nThe dancers and musical crew of the current production are simply amazing. Each dancer actually plays an instrument\, too\, therefore becoming a part of the band.
