The SONGBIRD Festival in Davos is like a who's who of Switzerland's music scene. The concert line-up includes acts such as Seven, Anna Rossinelli, Stress, or singer songwriter William White.
Now in its 12th year, the festival is going back to the roots. The organizers are inviting 22 bands and street musicians to Davos where they will get a platform to perform. As a way of giving back to the locals, the organizers are asking these young talents to perform "buskers style" on stages that will be set up in up to 10 unique spaces throughout Davos.
Any singer songwriters are welcome to apply for one of the slots generously provided by the SONGBIRD Festival. Included is a one week stay in Davos including travels, food, ski passes and a hotel room. The requirements state that the performance needs to be unplugged, and applications are accepted from solo or duo artists. Apply at email@example.com.
