STOMP is unlike anything you have ever seen: It is fast, loud, funny and surprising at every beat!
I had the chance to see STOMP a few years ago in the US, and I still remember those fast-paced percussion rhythms. The performers use only their own bodies, plus a variety of everyday objects such as buckets, cans, broomsticks and basketballs. The result of their continuous movements is mesmerizing and makes you bounce along in your chairs.
Now, STOMP is bringing back the rythm to Zürich with all new acts. What could their newly developed acts be all about? Zürich is about to find out when the performers try to maneuvre a full shopping cart or when they produce curiously organic soundscapes. Be aware that STOMP does not tell a story like most musical performances do. The reason is that it is not just a musical, theater, concert or artistic performance. It is everything, all at once!
The rhythm and dance of STOMP will take you on a journey, and I can guarantee you that you will leave Theater 11 fully energized for days…
