Tulip Festival in Morges
Apr 1 - May 14
Every spring, Morges hosts the Tulip Festival at the beautiful Parc de l'Indépendance on the shores of Lake Geneva.
What a colorful bliss! This festival is free to the public, which is why it is eagerly awaited by thousands... And 2023 will be no exception: under the theme of "Aster," more than 120'000 tulips of 300 varieties will brighten up this park.
Activities at the Tulip Festival in Morges
Since some of the tulip varieties are hasty while others are late, the flowering period is several weeks long. The Morges Tulip Festival program includes a number of events along the way, including a bulb sale at the conclusion of the Tulip Festival in Morges.
When you visit, look out for various flower displays throughout Morges. Be it in fountains or pots in the old town, at Parc Seigneux, or along the lake promenade, you will surely find flowers all over the place. As every year, the main tulip displays will be in the Parc de l'Indépendance.
In addition to the flowers, a variety of entertainment is going on during weekends. From a watercolor workshop to balloon tours, there is something for every taste.
Our advice: Follow the blooming progress on the official website and double-check whether the park is open before heading there. While admission to the festival is free, there will be a donation box for the sound and light show at the castle.
