International Street Artists Festival in Ascona

Expect the unexpected at the street performer festival in Ascona this June.
From mimes to dancers, and from saxophone players to jugglers: Talents from all over the world will be performing in beautiful Ascona. For this time in May, there is hardly a better place for an outdoor festival such as this. Thanks to the southern spring temperatures, you can leave that coat at the hotel and stroll around in your shirt...
And stroll around; you will at the International Street Performer Festival in Ascona!
That's because the old town of Ascona will come alive with a very exciting program. Some street performers will show up in groups, say for stage plays. Others, such as tightrope walkers or fire eaters, will have to be discovered in narrow alleys or along the main pedestrian strip by the lake. Overall, more than 100 acts are expected to answer the call of this popular festival!
Admission to the festival is free, but tips are encouraged. And here are the daily performance slots of the Street Performer Festival in Ascona: Fri 6 - 11 PM, Sat 11 AM - 11.45 PM, Sun 11 AM - 11:45 PM, Mon 11 AM - 3:30 PM.
