For the fourth time, the Photo International Club Zurich provides a unique opportunity to all local photographers regardless of experience level.
Yes, we’re looking at you! During PHOTO LAUNDRY, show off your creative work in an improvised gallery made of laundry lines under open sky. The original idea of such an exhibition was born in St Petersburg, Russia, in 2010. Since then, similar events have been organized in over 100 cities all over the world. Being the only “photo laundry” event in Switzerland so far, PICZ has been organizing this event annually since 2015.
In order to participate at PHOTO LAUNDRY, the photographs must be your work and they need to fit one of these (deliberately broad) themes:
– Street Photography
– Multiple-/Long Exposure
– Architecture/City Scape
Up to three pictures per topic are allowed to be entered. The cool part is that you will be able to exchange your photographs according to the principle of “bring one – take one.” (Pictures will be sheltered in case of rain. Or in the case of very bad weather, the exhibition might be moved inside.)
You are welcome to write your name and a short message to the future owner on your pictures. The exhibition will feature photographs taken on analog and digital cameras.
The event is taking place at Quartierhaus 5 in Zürich. Participation is free of charge and everyone is welcome!
