Zürich is hosting photo16, the annual photography exhibit. The event has established itself as Switzerland’s largest showcase of photography.
The organizers of photo16 have invited more photographers than ever: 150 professional and amateur artists from the areas of advertising, art and press will be highlighting their best photographic work.
We have never missed a year because we love the setting of the formerly industrial Maag factory. The urban industrial halls create a perfect backdrop for photography. We are super excited that there is a platform for user generated content: The top 100 photographs tagged with #dasischzüri will be displayed.
As part of photo16, the Swiss Photo Academy will be awarding the designation of “Swiss Photographer of the Year”. The nominees are Nico Krebs/Taiyo Onorato, Pascal Mora, Anne Morgenstern, Flurina Rothenberger, and Meinrad Schade.
And finally, the photoFORUM will host international top photographers such as Christopher Morris.
