St. Moritz Event: White Turf Family Days 2023

Lake St. Moritz is frozen over, and the Engadine is a veritable Winter Wonderland. Just like in 2022, the organizers of the world’s most special horse races are dedicating three Saturdays to families: White Turf Family Days.
As such, the festival space on the frozen Lake St. Moritz will be welcoming families and children. On the first three Saturdays of February, there will be no admission fee to get in. This presents an ideal opportunity for anyone wanting to feel the vibes of White Turf.
Did someone say pony races?!?
To attract a new generation to equine sports, White Turf is hosting several events with a low barrier of entry. From skijoring trials with a mounted horse to pony races, there are various ways for children to get involved.
Registrations are accepted in the information tent on the lake. Remember that for skijoring, you must bring your ski gear: skis, ski boots, helmet, and back armor.
For children who want to be around the equines without actually competing, the festival offers pony rides. Meanwhile, the adults will appreciate the delicious meals at the food stalls, watching the races unfold on the frozen lake.
