Wiler Japanfest – Japanese Festival in Wil

The Wiler Japanfest is a one-day celebration of Japanese culture.

Organized by the Swiss-Japanese culture organization Yamato, this event has quickly become popular among anyone interested in Nihon. The idea behind the festival is to bring like-minded people of all nationalities together.

More than a dozen vendors of Japanese food and handicrafts will be setting up their booths. This is an ideal opportunity to try Japanese delicacies, incl. sake tastings, and shop for unique gifts.

But wait, there's more! This festival is known to host various workshops, and they have announced performances by the Taiko Goraiko drummers as well as Japanese folk dancers.

Let's hope for nice weather: for the first time in the festival's history, the outdoor spaces of the historic Lokremise cultural center will be used.
