Every three years, Zürich is turned upside down for three days during ZüriFäscht.
Once again in 2019, a plethora of 300 food stalls will line Limmatquai and sweep around the northern end of the lake for this three-day summer festival. Events include everything from “rides” in amphibious vehicles to wakeboarding on the Limmat river. Have we mentioned camel rides and the 90 theme park rides?
The airshows at ZüriFäscht
Not to miss are the airshows featuring the PC-7 Pilatus team or a Super Puma helicopter. And in between, there are plenty of high-wire acrobatics shows high above the city, free concerts and parties.
The ZüriFäscht fireworks on Friday and Saturday nights always attract big crowds, so make sure to get there early enough.
The best part about ZüriFäscht? Everyone is invited, and it is free of charge!
