Farm Table reconnects people with local farmers who care about sustainable food and organizes a dinner right at the source of ingredients.
The event organizers promise appetizers and a welcome drink to start out the evening. After a brief speech and a guided farm tour by the host, everyone will have a seat at the long dinner table.
Here, you will get to enjoy a five course meal composed by the chef in his outdoor kitchen, using seasonal food from the farm. Tap water is included in the price, but wine and coffee may be ordered on site for an extra charge.

About the farm “Zur Chalte Hose”
This organic farm Zur Chalte Hose near Zürich is home to a herd of Angus mother cows, Pomeranian ducks, Croatian turopolje pigs and horses. Also, the name quite literally stands for cold pants.
The owners are Claudia Wanger and Nils Müller. They have set up the farm and are leading it with great dedication, following the highest principles in terms of ethics, ecology and treatment of animal species.
As the only Swiss farm, they are allowed to slaughter cows on the pasture. Apart from the Farm Table event, they run a farm shop and a typical small farm restaurant (“Beiz”) where they serve an organic meal every other week.
