This spring, a very tasty festival is coming back to Zürich: FOOD ZURICH. Eleven days, more than 100 different events, and it’s all about food. *drooling*
For the third year in a row, the organizers of FOOD ZURICH are returning with a packed program. While the festival used to be in the fall, it has now been moved to May. But regardless of the timing, the aim of this delicious gathering is ambitious (yet realistic): The organizers want to continue building on Zürich’s reputation as a renowned Food City.
All kinds of locations will serve as kitchens and dining halls: From established restaurants to a museum and even a castle or private apartments. There will be everything from fine food to social food and street food. And this year, the main hot spot will be the “CHUCHI” at the Hardturm Street Food Festival. There, chefs, food experts and bloggers will be entertaining the crowds with their creations.

Our recommendation: Make it a point to attend the closing party at Zürich’s wholesale market. Of course, you should be attending a bunch of other happenings, too. But this party is a feast for all senses: Zürich’s top chefs from 20 different restaurants will be serving their best creations – from appetizers to main dishes and desserts. And along the center of the food market, there is one long table set for the guests. So you will surely sit next to another fun group of people as there is no way to reserve a seat…
