You do not have to go far abroad to have an exciting Nordic experience.
In fact, you can have it here in Switzerland in Les Mosses near Aigle, where the International Sled Dog Race is being held.
Around 700 strong, energetic and lively dogs together with their mushers will rush over the snowy plateau, making for a thrilling race in a wonderful surrounding.
The race takes place in two rounds with distances of 8 and 16 km, and you will surely be surprised by the craftsmanship and speed of these dog-powered, man-run vehicles.
