Street Food Festival (Zürich)

Interested in this summer’s food hotspots? Let us tell you about one of them.
Zurich’s Street Food Festival is back. Back with more mouthwatering food, more entertainment and with a new location. This time, it takes place in the former freight depot (Güterbahnhof). Around 70 street food vendors will take over the industrial area, creating it a food mecca for several stretched weekends during this July and September.
Once you have eaten your way through the salty and savory main dishes, you can indulge in a delicious dessert. From burgers to vegan wraps, from truffle eggs to frozen yoghurts – there is everything one’s taste buds might desire.
The festival is expanding every year and also now, the organizers have tried to meet every taste with specially selected themed food islands, a variety of drink stands for the perfect food pairing, a beer garden, lounge areas and more.
In between the two editions of the Street Food Festival, a Summer garden will take place with a varied programme of concerts and jam sessions, Open Kitchen, Urban Playground, as well as specialty, flea and farmer’s markets.
