Switzerland: Amazingly Ambivalent (Exhibit)

Many Swiss share a sentiment that their country is a cut above the rest. They might tell you that nature is breathtakingly beautiful, the streets are sparkling clean, and the infrastructure is top-notch.
This inside-out view does not necessarily match how the world perceives Switzerland. Is it an idyllic paradise, or a surveillance state where suspicious neighbors check up on each other? Is it a humanitarian country or rather an island ruled by banks and multinationals?
The Swiss National Museum in Zürich is dedicating a temporary exhibit to bring us face to face with these bewildering contrasts: Amazingly Ambivalent. By facing these divergent views, we will get to reflect on our own relationship with Switzerland. And who knows, we might even uncover what really makes the Swiss tick...
