Monday Night Magic in Zürich

Last night, we left behind the glittery Christmas decorations of Zürich's Old Town to descend into the cellar beneath Theater Stok.

We did not know what to expect of Monday Night Magic, but the decor from times past and the intimate stage setting proved to be precursors for a magical night!

The entire performance ran just over two hours with an admission price of CHF 25. Simply based on that, what a bang for a buck in Zürich!

And we have not even talked about the magic show...

Throughout the night, the host presented some baffling illusions and tricks of his own.

On top of that, the main act seriously worked our laughing muscles though! As you can see below, Magician Gaston is a very talented actor and impersonator, not to mention philosopher (he moralized about the meaning of time while "playing" with quicksand, for instance)!

Count us in as regulars! The next show will be in February 2011, so check the Monday Night Magic website for more information, or directly request tickets by email.
