The town of Vevey, Switzerland, serves as the backdrop for a 2010 project which I am very excited about: “Unframed”. Artist JR has chosen this historical setting in order to project works of art onto its buildings.
The outcome is a string of interesting contrasts, where famous works of art appear in entirely new contexts. Among others, I particularly like the “Bauhaus” image, which dates back to Germany’s re-building efforts after World War I.
