It is no stereotype that Europeans drive some of the smallest and most efficient cars. Coming from the US where pickups are the size of garbage trucks, the largest cars on Swiss roads appear to be Honda Accords... Here is where it gets cool: Rinspeed, a Swiss company, is taking efficiency to the next level as it is unveiling the "UC", which stands for "Urban Commuter". This vehicle combines car, train and web:
"UC" is actually a comprehensive mobility concept: It is designed for city driving, but long distances can be bridged by loading the UC onto a special train. Slots on intercity trains can easily be scheduled from the built-in web portal, which makes for stress-free and energy efficient commuting! Now, how cool is that?
